Xiaomi launched the Redmi K50 series of smartphones in the Chinese market a few months ago, in March this year. Now, the standard Redmi K50 is getting a new look and a new color in China.
The company has introduced the Redmi K50 smartphone, which packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This new model is priced at 2,899 yuan, which roughly converts to $ 435 It is now available for pre-order in China and will go on sale from May 26.
At the same time, the company has introduced a new color option for the Redmi K50 series, called Qingxue, which comes with a matte white back panel. It will be officially available for purchase starting June 18, with a starting price of 2,399 yuan (360).
Coming to the specification, the Redmi K50 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED QHD + display that offers a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Underneath the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor.
The devices pack up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. In the camera section, the back of the Redmi K50 has a triple-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP snapper for taking selfies and making video calls.
It runs the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI 13 custom user interface. The device is powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W for fast charging.
