Poco F4 5G will arrive with 2-year warranty in India

A few hours from now, Poco will launch the Poco F4 5G in India and other international markets. Earlier, the brand’s new India head made an announcement last night about the phone’s warranty in the country. Let’s see what he has to say.

Recently, Poco appointed Himanshu Tandon as the new Country Head of India. Last night, the executive tweeted a video talking about the warranty of the two smartphones.

He revealed that the upcoming Poco F4 5G will come to India with a 2-year warranty. For the uninitiated, unlike the EU where a 2-year warranty is a norm, Indian companies offer only a one-year warranty. This makes the Poco F4 5G an exception.

In addition, exec has announced that the brand Poco X3 Pro has extended the warranty by 6 months. Extended warranty period applies to all buyers. The device debuted in March 2021, and therefore, even units purchased shortly after launch are still under warranty.

Speaking of the Poco F4 5G, the upcoming smartphone has been marketed in India as the successor to the Poco F1. But the F1 was an original handset, while the F4 5G was just a rebranded Redmi K40S with a different primary camera.
