OPPO will probably launch another affordable tablet in India along with OPPO Pad Air

The OPPO Reno 8 series will be announced in India later this month. If a recent rumor is to be believed, it could officially go to the country on July 21st. The lineup will probably include two models: the Renault 8 and the Renault 8 Pro. Reliable tipstar Mukul Sharma has revealed that OPPO will launch two tablets in India.

According to Sharma, OPPO will launch OPPO AirPad in India. It will be aimed at offline markets. The other tablet will be an online-centric device that will cost from Rs 10,000 (~ 6 126) to Rs 15,000 ($ 190). Unfortunately, there is no information on the final marketing name of this device. Tipstar also shared the original specifications of the OPPO Pad Air.

Sharma revealed that the Indian version of the OPPO Pad Air will have a 10.36-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a 2K resolution and will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset. It will pack a 7,100mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The OPPO Pad Air will have 4 GB RAM, 3 GB virtual RAM and 128 GB native storage. It will come with Dolby Atoms-powered quad stereo speakers. It will have a slim profile of 6.94mm. Didn’t mention anything about the camera on the Tipster device. However, it seems that the Pad Air sold in India will be the same as the Pad Air sold in China.

There is no word on the launch date of the upcoming OPPO tablets. There is a possibility that the new OPPO tablets could be official alongside the Reno 8 lineup.
