iQOO Z5 is back in September 2021, followed by the Z5x a month later. Both devices are only available in China, and while the global market has welcomed the iQOO Z6 series, a new Vivo-branded Z5 phone is heading into the domestic scene.
The information came from Digital Chat Station, who posted on Weibo that the new iQOO Z5 will have a 6,000 mAh battery with 44W fast-charging power.
The source further claimed that the chipset of this new mysterious phone will be competitive with Dimension 8000. There aren’t many mid-range platforms that match MediaTek SoC’s octa-core CPU with four cores at 2.75 GHz, so we’re hoping the original iQOO Z5 will have the Snapdragon 778G again.
Among other features, the phone will have a 6.58 ”LCD and a thick 9.21mm body. We’re looking for more leaks and teasers for the features as apparently, the new iQOO Z5 is right around the corner.
