Motorola has already officially confirmed that it is working on a new Razr foldable smartphone, which is going to be the first properly flagship-grade in the family with its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The device was leaked in a quick hands-on video today. The design seems to have changed a lot compared to the original Razr of 2019 and the Razr 5G of 2020, and the new phone has lost the trademark Razr Chin at the bottom – now it’s more like Samsung’s Flips than any of the Razrs of the past. It also has two main cameras, and the inside folding screen has a centralized hole-punch for the selfie camera, which has absolutely no creases in sight.
The fingerprint scanner is built into the side-mounted power button, and the trademark Razr’s large external screen is still there, embarrassing the Galaxy Z Flip3’s effort. This GIF reveals everything, but the leaked floodgates are now open, so we’ll have a lot more on motorola Razr 3 in the coming weeks.
