Motorola will announce the Moto X30 Pro flagship phone on August 3 It will be the most powerful flagship phone of the brand Apart from featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, it will also have a 200-megapixel camera. Chen Xin, Lenovo China’s genara manager for the mobile phone division, confirmed the fast-charging capabilities of the X30 Pro.
Last year, the Lenovo-owned brand announced the Motorola Edge X30 in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It comes with support for 68W fast charging. The device has a 5,000mAh battery. Earlier this year, Jin shared a photo of a 125W fast charger. Today, he posted the same image again on Weibo and confirmed that the Moto X30 Pro will support 125W fast charging. The X30 Pro is expected to have a 4,500mAh battery and support for wireless charging.
Reports reveal that the Moto X30 Pro will feature a 6.73-inch P-OLED display with a punch-hole in the center and curved edges. It will carry support for a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The SD8+G1-powered device can have up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The X30 Pro may have a 60-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup may include a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto snapper.
The X30 Pro will be preloaded with Android 12 OS and the latest MyUI 4.0. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner. The X30 Pro is expected to be released in the global market with the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra moniker. Besides unveiling the X30 Pro on August 3, the company will also take the covers off the Motorola Razr 2022 clamshell device.
