HMD announces Nokia 2660 Flip, 5710 XpressAudio and 8210 4G phones

Nokia’s latest feature phones are an explosion of the past with some modern twists. Here is the redesigned Nokia 8210 4G which is familiar from 4G to 1999 Nokia 8210 as well as Nokia 2660 Flip which offers a familiar experience and big touch buttons. The Nokia 5710 is also honoring the XpressMusic line with XpressAudio – a Candibar handset with built-in wireless earbuds.

The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is a more exciting offer thanks to its built-in wireless earbuds. The back of the phone has a sliding mechanism that holds the buds and charges them when not in use. You can use bands to listen to music stored on the device (storage up to 32GB via microSD slot) or to listen to FM radio and you can connect them to any other device like smartphone or tablet. The phone also has a headphone jack if you prefer that route.

The Nokia 5710 features a 2.4-inch QVGA color screen and a signature audio control on the side of the display. The phone also has a VGA rear camera and a removable 1,450 mAh battery that charges up to 6 hours via 4G talktime and microUSB. It runs the S30 + interface. The Nokia 5710 comes in white / red and black / red and the earbud matches the phone’s primary color.

The design of the Nokia 8210 4G is taken from the classic model launched in 1999 but updates the hardware on all fronts. It has a 2.8 QVGA color display, LTE connection and support for storage up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone is made from polycarbonate and comes in sand, blue and red colors. A removable 1,450 mAH battery is rated at 4G with 6 hours of talktime and up to 19 days of standby. Other additions include an FM radio receiver that works with both wired and wireless earbuds, a built-in MP3 player and fans’ favorite Snake game.

The Nokia 2660 Flip is the third new entry and the other two new Nokia feature phones bring similar specifications but in the form of a clamshell. It has a 2.8 QVGA main screen, a secondary 1.77-inch panel, a VGA camera and a 1,450mAh battery rated at standby for 20 days.

The Nokia 2660 Flip has large touch buttons and a hearing aid adjustment (HAC), making it an effective option for older users. The device also runs on the S30 + interface and supports SD cards up to 32GB. It comes in black, blue and red.

All three phones are coming to the top of the UK later this month. The Nokia 8210 4G and Nokia 2660 Flip will retail for £ 64.99 (€ 59) while the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio will be 74.99 (€ 69).
