ASUS ROG Phone 6D 2022 series renders leak reveals familiar design

After the launch of the ROG Phone 6 series in July, Asus has now announced that the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will launch on September 19. The D in the name apparently stands for Dimension, as the phone will replace the Snapdragon 8. + Gen 1 Chips Dimension favors 9000+ chips. Now, a new report by 91mobiles has revealed renders of the ROG Phone 6D series which consists of two models,


Looking at the renders, the devices seem to be quite similar to their Snapdragon counterparts. The ROG Phone 6D (right) looks especially similar to the ROG Phone 6. On the other hand, the 6D Ultimate (left) features some minor design changes compared to the 6 Pro.

As we already know, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is confirmed to come with the MediaTek Dimension 9000+ chipset, making it the first gaming phone to feature this particular chip. The device scored 11,46,594 points on the AnTuTu benchmark which is 2-3 percent better than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 equipped 6 Pro.

A 3C listing of the ROG Phone 6D has revealed its 65W fast charging capability. Other specs of the devices are expected to be similar to the non-D variants, which means we will likely get a 6.78-inch FHD+ 165Hz AMOLED display, 50MP Sony IMX766 camera and a 6,000mAh battery unit in the new devices.
